Fire at sheller mill guts property worth over Rs 2.5 million

Itahari, April 14 : Goods and property worth more than Rs 2.5 million were destroyed by fire that engulfed the Saraswati Sheller Mill at Khanar, Itahari Sub-metropolitan City of Sunsari district this morning.

The fire started from an electricity transformer at the mill premises gutted raw materials and the machinery at the mill, the Area Police Office, Itahari stated.

Police and the locals doused the fire with the help of the fire engines called in from Itahari and Inaruwa municipalities. RSS
