Lahan, May 2 : A 23-year-old woman has lost her life after being severely beaten by her husband at Golbazaar Municipality in Siraha district last night.
Prabha Devi Sharma succumbed to the injuries after her husband Krishna Sharma, 35, of Choharba in Golbazaar Municipality-7 thrashed Prabha Devi mercilessly, the victim’s kin claimed.

Prabha Devi’s brother Ram Sagar Sharma said that Prabha Devi died on the way to Phul Kumari Memorial Hospital at Karjanha in the district while rushing to the hospital after she lost her consciousness after the beating incident.

However, police said that details would be revealed after the post mortem about her death.
Likewise, police have held Krishna Sharma for allegedly beating his wife to death. (RSS)
