Kaski, Sept 2 : Chief Minister of Gandaki State, Prithvi Subba Gurung has extended his best wishes on the occasion of Teej – a festival of Nepali people. In a message sent on Sunday evening, Chief Minster Gurung wished all brothers and sisters at home and abroad for their happiness, peace and prosperity on the occasion of Teej festival.

The peculiar festivals being marked by different ethnic groups and communities of Nepal would enhance social good will and cultural co-existence thereby strengthening unity among different communities and fraternities as well as national integrity, reads the message.

He further said it was important to take into consideration the fundamental aspects of the festivals and adopt cost effective measures while celebrating our cultural festivals. The Chief Minister expressed his confidence that the Teej festival would further consolidate mutual harmony, cultural tolerance and social unity among all ethnic groups and communities and encourage all to build a prosperous Nepal from economic, social and cultural aspects.
