Baglung, July 23: A 17-year-old girl was killed when landslide buried her at Galkot municipality-8 of Baglung district this morning. The deceased has been identified as Sita Gautam. Police Inspector at the Area Police Office, Harichour, Keshav Singh Thapa, said that the incident took place when landslide following incessant rainfall buried the cowshed when she was inside the cowshed.


The cowshed was completely damaged by the landslide. A buffalo, calf and two goats were also buried by the landslide. People’s representatives and police have reached the incident site for rescue and relief operation.
Gautam was 12th grader at a local Shiva Secondary School. RSS
