Dhankuta, Sept 19: A free health camp kicked off in Dhankuta on Monday. The 12-day camp began with the technical support of an American medical mission. The free health camp is focused on providing several health and medical services to the people who have little access to such services.
Former Minister for Industry, Trade and Supply, Sunil Bahadur Thapa and Chief of Aloha Medical Mission of US, Clamp Christopher, jointly inaugurated the camp. Coordinator of camp organizing committee, Rosesh Shrestha, informed that there are 41 doctors in the team. Hernia, piles, kidney stone, dental problems, uterus prolapse, thyroid, tonsillitis and other surgical problems would be treated by the doctors. It is the sixth in series of such camp in Dhankuta.
